ViberNet, the telecommunications subsidiary of Scaled Holdings, today announced the successful completion of Phase 1 of its fiber internet deployment across Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
The rollout connects thousands of residential and commercial properties to ViberNet's high-speed fiber network, delivering speeds of up to 1Gbps — significantly higher than the regional average for broadband connectivity.
Phase 2 of the rollout, scheduled to begin in Q1 2025, will extend coverage to additional districts in Jammu & Kashmir and begin the group's wider telecommunications infrastructure expansion.
"Kashmir deserves world-class internet infrastructure," said a ViberNet spokesperson. "We started here because this is where Scaled Holdings was born. The connectivity gap in this region is real, and we intend to close it."
