The challenge
Summit operated three separate e-commerce systems across acquired brands, a legacy POS, and inconsistent IT support across locations. Conversion was poor, inventory was unreliable across channels, and the in-house team was stretched thin.
Our approach
We rebuilt the storefronts on Shopify Plus with a shared component library, integrated the POS estate, and replaced four regional support contracts with a single managed services agreement. Migration was timed to fall outside peak retail windows.
Outcomes
Online revenue grew 2.8x in the twelve months after launch. Inventory accuracy across channels exceeded 99%. The merged support model halved per-store IT spend.
